The meta-analyze has shown that women who underwent fertility treatment with fertility drugs (gonadotropins, human chorionic gonadotropin, and gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist) were not at risk of developing uterine cancer.

Infertility can often lead to the development of ovarian cancer if it has not been treated. These meta-analyze reports have shown that infertile women who haven’t proceeded to fertility treatment are more exposed to developing ovarian cancer than those who treated their fertility with IVF.

The Danish Cancer Society carried out research on 54.362 women diagnosed with infertility. The women were in similar circumstances – treated with fertility medications.
In this study, the researchers found no significant increase in the risk of breast cancer after fertility drugs use.
